Dr. Anne-Floor Scholvinck is employed at the Rathenau Instituut (the Netherlands) as a senior researcher. She is an expert in the field of science and research policy, in particular Open Science and public engagement with science. She has (co-)authored several studies on Open Science with the Rathenau Instituut, and presented her work for a varied and international audience. Before she joined the institute, she conducted her PhD research on a related topic – patient involvement in health research.
In 2020-2021, Anne-Floor was seconded to the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. As an Open Science expert, she contributed to drafting the global UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, which was adopted by its member states in November 2021.
